This famous electronic music festival started in 1986 is a music festival experience like no other. The week leading up to Labor Day, over 70,000 people gather in a temporary city called Black Rock City in the Black Rock Desert.
Burning Man is guided by 10 principles: radical, inclusion, gifting, decommodification, radical self-reliance, radical self-expression, communal effort, civic responsibility, leaving no trace, participation, and immediacy.
Participants are encouraged to design and build all the art, activities, and events during the festival. The festival culminates in the burning of a large wooden effigy, referred to as “The Man,” on the Saturday evening of the festival.

The Estéreo Picnic Festival is Columbia’s biggest alternative music festival of the year. It was founded in 2010 with mostly Columbian artists and just a few thousand attendees. The event focuses on alternative rock, but also features punk rock, reggae, electronica, and hip-hop artists.

The Danube Island Festival holds the Guinness World Record for the largest attendance at a music festival with 3.3 million people in attendance. This is a festival any music lover will cherish.
